Instrument Donations

We are currently collecting instruments as part of a project to take them over to Calais. Drums, guitars and other percussive instruments are most relevant to this purpose. Instruments from Syria, Sudan, Afghanistan, Ethiopia and Eritrea are especially welcomed as they could provide an amazing opportunity for musicians from those regions to perform music from their homeland. There are also growing numbers of children in Calais, so children's instruments are also a valuable resource.

Not all instruments will go to Calais however, as there may not be much call for most western classical instruments. Most of these that are donated will be used in our UK projects, such as the migrant orchestras project. All donated instruments will find hands that need them and will be put to use in helping to improve access to music.
